My buddy Andrew "facetimed" me the other day. It came through the phone app and was pretty epic. I have absolutely no complaints, other than its only available for iOS or Mac devices. Why doesn't Apple make an app compatible with android or blackberry? It is not in their DNA.
Google is currently working on their alternative. Anybody who's anybody has a gmail account, and with that you get Google Talk. On Android 2.3.4, Google enabled video chat to mobile phones, which will be compatible with any computer (mac or PC) or any device capable of running Google talk w/ 2.3.4 or higher.
Too bad only 10% of devices run android 2.3.4. Wait for my future topic of "fragmentation" for more info.
What is the action verb for Facetime????
